This may be the perfect shot from the wedding, many brides need to postpone this years nuptials due to restraints imposed by the state to help battle the pandemic. How do you store the already purchased gown in the meantime? Keep your dress in the garment bag and open a few inches on the top. Make sure the dress is hanging from the garment straps if it has them, and not the gown straps! Keep the garment bag in a cool and dark (dimly lit) space. Most importantly keep it away from any pets that you may have. Once you are about a month away from your big day, contact your bridal shop to see if you can have it freshly steamed. If that is not possible please either contact a local dry cleaner, or give yourself about a week to "steam" in your bathroom. If you are doing the at home method make sure you are once again placing in a safe space after steaming in order to it perfect for the big day.
