About Me

My name is Racheal. I am the oldest of seven sisters. I minored in photography in college back when it was still film and darkrooms. I graduated from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology in 1992.
     About 5 years ago, my younger sister, Jennifer and I started Photography Sisters. Although her journey has taken her in a different direction, l am continuing to pursue my passion. Jennifer still works behind the scenes; creating ads, editing, and fantasy edits.
     I love photography...all of it! Especially Portraits, pets, newborns and weddings. I have placed in the top 10%, two years in a row, in “Shoot and Share” (the largest photo contest in the world) in the categories of children and couples. Backdrop companies have used my images to feature their products. I also have had several portraits published in various photography magazines. 
     This year, changes in my life have given me the opportunity to devote all my time to my passion and have allowed me to focus on growing my business.
     Although Photography Sisters started with my sister and me, I will continue to promote and support the other women business, “my sisters”, that I collaborate with.
